The belief

Looking after yourself is never superficial. It's an act of self-respect, and the care you give yourself often shapes the way you show up for the people, places, and moments that matter most.

The origin

There was a moment. Not a business plan, not a rebrand, there was a moment when the question shifted.

It was no longer, How do we take care of our clients? It became, How do we create a space where people can take care of themselves?

The Skin Atelier was born from that idea. From the belief that those who walk through our doors aren't here to be fixed or changed—they're here to pause, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

We wanted to create more than a salon or clinic. We envisioned a space where self-care feels intentional, restorative, and genuinely supportive of wellbeing. A place to slow down, step away from the demands of everyday life, and leave feeling refreshed, confident, and cared for.

What began as Collaroy Skin Care & Beauty Retreat has gently evolved into The Skin Atelier—a considered space designed to help people exhale, reconnect, and feel beautifully cared for.

The space

You feel it as soon as you walk through our door. The pace slows down. The outside world fades for a little while.

The Skin Atelier was created to feel calm, welcoming and easy to be in. A place where you don't have to be anything for anyone else for an hour or two.

Set on Sydney's Northern Beaches, it's a space designed to help you switch off, take a breath and enjoy being looked after.

The practice

Our therapists bring together expertise, experience and genuine care.

Every treatment begins with understanding your skin and taking the time to tailor an experience that feels right for you. We believe skincare should never feel rushed or impersonal.

It's about thoughtful treatments, meaningful moments of pause and helping you leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and more connected to yourself.

Because skincare isn't just about results. It's about how you feel while you're here, and long after you've left.

The invitation

You already know why you are here.

Not because someone told you to slow down. Not because you need permission. But because you have decided. Quietly. Deliberately. That you are worth the unhurried attention you give to everything and everyone else.

Sacred skin. Sacred self.
